The Black Rep

The Black Rep is the premier professional African-American theater company in the country. The Black Rep mounts five mainstage works at its home, The Grandel, and one work at the Edison Theatre each year. In addition, approximately 25,000 students in area schools are able to see their performances via the Wednesday School Matinee program by the Black Rep professional touring company. Other Black Rep programs include Teen Techs, Summer Performing Arts, and Noonday Series.
