Prison Performing Arts

Learning through the Arts provides year-round after-school and weekend performing arts classes for young men and women, ages 10-17, incarcerated at the St. Louis City Juvenile Detention Center. Classes include acting/improvisation, Capoeira, Dance Anthropology and West-African Drumming. Once a year, participants perform for a live audience in a "Showcase of Success."
