St. Louis Chamber Chorus
The Saint Louis Chamber Chorus explores and celebrates the ethnic diversity and architechtural legacy of St. Louis through six programs of outstanding choral music under the direction of Philip Barnes, who is beginning his 23rd year as Artistic Director. Unlike any other choir in the region, the Chamber Chorus is “itinerant,“ taking its performances to buildings throughout the greather St. Louis area. Each concert is tailored to its surroundings and offers the audience a unique opportunity to explore visually and acoustically six diverse settings. Thus, the choice of venue matches both the repertoire and thrust of the program, and also serves to highlight the architectural jewels in our midst.
