The Arts and Education Council has been the St. Louis region's only United Arts Fund since 1963. In that time, A&E has raised and distributed more than $100 million in support of nonprofit arts and arts education organizations. Unique collaborations with the PNC Foundation, Maritz, Wells Fargo Advisors and Monsanto Fund allow A&E to fund specific projects that reach classrooms, communities and populations that might not otherwise have access to the arts. A&E grantees not only produce or present great art, they also maintain viable, impactful arts education and outreach programming for K-12 students throughout the bi-state area. Funding is provided through grants at multiple levels. All organizations applying for grants must have 501(c)3 status for a minimum of one year and focus on arts and arts education. Additional criteria vary with each grant level.

In addition to funding, the Arts and Education Council offers professional development and marketing support to grantees.  Learn more about benefits to grantees here.
