Diversifying Your Funding Strategies Part 2

Wednesday, April 11, 2012
9 am to 12 pm

During Part I of this 2-Session workshop, participants will be introduced to a wide variety of funding sources including annual, major, planned and corporate giving; special events; cause-related marketing; in-kind contributions; earned income; and federal, state and municipal grants.  A hands-on approach to identifying your organization’s challenges and opportunities will be introduced as well as the introduction of steps to take toward exploring additional or renewed revenue for your organization.  Exercises will be given to complete during the time between Part I and Part II.

During Part II, participants will investigate the myths associated with diversification of resources, assess their organizational readiness for new and existing revenue sources, and work toward the development of a plan to explore at least one new revenue stream.
