Strategic Fundraising through Major Donor Research

Participants will be introduced to creative and ethical ways to identify critical information necessary for donor prospecting, how to mobilize donor research into action for major gifts and how to use the research to build a robust fundraising program.
About the Instructor
Extensive experience in the nonprofit sector, including executive coaching and working with development staff and Boards in fund development, training workshops on writing and other fund development tasks, and facilitating focus groups. Twenty years working directly with nonprofit organizations, raising the bar on fundraising expectations, performance accountability, case statements, quality of applications, development of realistic outcomes and measurements, and overall greater articulation of programmatic and capital needs. All relate to major gift programs, board building and engagement, grant strategies and donor management.
