Volunteers are the backbone for many nonprofit organizations; especially in these tough economic times when there is more to do, but much less resources to get it done. A well planned and managed volunteer program can be an enormous asset to your organization. In this workshop, we will review volunteer management components that contribute to running a well-rounded program, how to determine strategically which opportunities will best serve the organization and which opportunities will be most appealing to potential volunteers.
