On Aug. 2, the Arts and Education Council’s Young Friends of the Arts is hosting their annual A Midsummer Night’s Drink. Here are three reasons you won’t want to miss this rooftop party celebrating the arts in our region!

1. It’s a party you won’t forget.

A Midsummer Night’s Drink has everything that goes into a great party – great views, delicious food and drink and fun memories to take with you after the party is over. Enjoy drinks from 4Hands Brewing Co. and 1220 Spirits and food from St. Louis favorites like Pastaria, Whitebox Eatery, Pi Pizzeria and more while you enjoy views of the Grand Center Arts District. After you’ve danced the night away to beats from Makeda Kravitz, you’ll be able to hold onto your memories with photos from Funday Photo Booth.

2. You can get in on the art making.

You’ll have the opportunity to contribute to a one of a kind artwork designed by the folks at Filament and inspired by the vibrancy of our arts community. Plus, you’ll keep art happening! A Midsummer Night’s Drink benefits the Arts and Education Council’s grants and programs that reach 1.6 million children in our region.

3. You can enter to win big with raffle prizes worth $5,000.

There are over $5,000 worth of raffle items that you could win - from Cardinals tickets and spa packages to restaurant gift cards, arts experiences and more. Tickets are just $5 and can be purchased in advance or at the event.

A Midsummer Night’s Drink is Aug. 2 from 7:00-10:00 p.m.
