Trivia Night, hosted by the Arts and Education Council’s Young Friends of the Arts, is back for the second year! Get your team together and join us Nov. 13 (tomorrow!) for a night of trivia, fun and prizes all from the comfort of your home. Here are three reasons you won’t want to miss this event: 

1. Your ticket keeps art happening

Your support for the Arts and Education Council furthers our ability to invest in the arts organizations across the bi-state region who need our support, now more than ever. Your ticket of $25 makes it possible for three students to attend a classical music concert, when it’s safe to do so. Or, you can help pay for the transportation and lessons for a talented young artist with your table purchase of $250. With performances and fundraising events cancelled, revenue needed to pay salaries and expenses has evaporated for many arts organizations. Whether you buy a ticket or an entire table, each dollar helps keep art happening in our community!

2. It will be way more fun than another Zoom meeting

Have you been to one of those events where it just feels like an extension of your workday? That’s not going to happen here! After we’ve explained the rules, you’ll get to catch up with the folks at your virtual table in your own Zoom room while you determine the correct answer. Plus, you can expect all the same aspects that you’d experience during an in-person trivia night from a wine pull to a 50/50 raffle – it’s all going to be part of the fun, just in a virtual format!

3. PJs are appropriate attire

We’ve all been there – a friend invites you to an event and it sounds fun, but you really don’t want to dress up and mingle with people. You can wear whatever you want to the Young Friends of the Arts’ Trivia Night. Even though it’s November there’s no reason to put on a coat. But, you can dress to the nines, if you’d like to! You want to wear a tuxedo? Sure thing! A holiday sweater? Why not! Your favorite yoga attire? Of course! After all, you will be in the comfort of your own home.

Tickets: $35; $25 for YFA members | $250 when you purchase tickets for a table of ten; $260 for a table with a Ringer Round (you'll get all the correct answers for one round of your choosing!)

Raffle Tickets:

  • 50/50 Raffle: $20 - The winner gets 50% percent of the total and the Arts and Education Council retains 50% to keep art happening.
  • Wine Pull: $10 - Enter to win a bottle of wine valued at $10 or more.
  • Booze bucket: $5 Enter to win a basket of assorted alcohol.
  • Arts and Education Council Swag Bag: $1 - Enter to win an assortment of Arts and Education Council swag.
