How you kept art happening in St. Louis in 2019
25 November, 2019
Did you know the Arts and Education Council is funded by private donations? It's true! The Arts and Education Council receives no government or tax dollars to offer programs that keep art happening across the bi-state region. That means we rely entirely on the generosity of people like you to shape a more vibrant arts community.
Here’s a quick look at the impact of your support in this past year.
Your gift to the Arts and Education Council encouraged students to explore diverse perspectives both inside and outside of their communities, promoted arts-fueled empathy and proved that it’s never too late to answer your calling to the arts.
Thanks to you, the Arts and Education Council funded 70+ arts organizations that enhance our lives, 19 of which are housed in our arts incubator. Plus, our arts incubator gained four new friends, the “St. Louis Honey Bears”. In Missouri and Illinois, we supported artistic innovation in 14 area schools as well as in five rural communities. Our grants and programs impacted the lives of 1.6 adults and children in the bi-state region.
None of these incredible stories could have been written without your help. Thank you for your continued support!
Together, we keep art happening.
Your gift to the Arts and Education Council furthers our ability to invest in our community and make the St. Louis region a more vibrant arts community for all.
