"It seems really cliche but one of my earliest memories is being with my grandmother at her quilting bee, with church ladies at Odd Fellows Hall to quilt, and I remember playing with the quilt when it was set up on the stand. I always enjoyed it, and grandma’s sewing room was this magical place with drawers full of cool stuff and she saved everything. After she died we had 75 years worth of stuff to clean out."
