"I’ve been performing since I was 2 years old, assistant teaching since I was about 7, then I took over teaching when I was 15. Teaching is really rewarding because you get to help somebody grow and you get to see them connect the dots, which is really cool. I teach the flying trapeze. That’s really fun because most people are terrified to start, but it’s one of those things you can pick up fairly quickly depending on how active you are. It’s very rewarding to have someone be terrified at the beginning of class, and then really accomplish something by the end."
