Laumeier Sculpture Park welcomes back its in-person Art Fair
28 April, 2022
After two years of hosting its Annual Art Fair online due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Laumeier Sculpture Park (an Arts and Education Council grantee) will host the event back in-person for 2022. The 35th Annual Art Fair features nearly 150 juried artists from across the country, local food and beverage vendors and live music, all set against the beautiful backdrop of the park.
This event offers fun for the whole family and provides opportunities for attendees to experience art and nature while interacting with talented artists from across the nation including local artists. Typical Art Fair attendance averages 15,000 over the entire weekend, but due to the community’s anticipation of the Art Fair’s return to an in-person event, Laumeier is expecting to surpass that average.
Laumeier Sculpture Park is one of the first and largest sculpture parks in the country. Laumeier presents more than 70 works of large-scale outdoor sculpture throughout its 105-acre campus. It serves 300,000 visitors of all ages each year, with a world-class art collection, indoor and outdoor temporary exhibitions, education programs and public events. Proceeds from the Art Fair support Laumeier’s dedication to creativity, community connections and the restorative benefits of art and nature.
The Annual Art Fair takes place at Laumeier Sculpture Park (12580 Rott Road, St. Louis, MO 63127) on Friday, May 6-Sunday May 8. Tickets are $10 and ages 10 and under are free.
Visitors are encouraged to look at laumeier.org/artfair for important information before they arrive at the Art Fair, including details on parking and pet policies.
