Campaign and Events Manager
Rhiannon Chavez joined the Arts and Education Council in March 2018 as the Development and Database Associate. In her current role as campaign and events manager, she is responsible for the cultivation, solicitation, planning and execution of forty or more workplace giving campaigns annually as well as executing special events for Muse Society leadership giving, Young Friends of the Arts, Chairman’s Circle major donor events, the St. Louis Arts Awards and other initiatives.
Before transitioning to arts fundraising, Chavez worked in communications and development for healthcare and direct service nonprofits. Most recently, she served as the event coordinator and online giving manager for Independence Center’s Dancing with the St. Louis Stars. She holds a bachelor’s degree in English and Political Science from University of Missouri-Columbia.
Rhiannon lives with her husband and son in Belleville, Illinois. In her spare time she writes, takes pictures, and goes on daytrips with her family.
