Apply to the Bayer Fund Rural Community Arts Program
Applications are by invitation only.
The Bayer Fund Rural Community Arts Program is a partnership initiative that strengthens rural communities through the arts. Funding from the program brings artists and entertainers into rural classrooms and performance venues so people of all ages living in counties surrounding the St. Louis metropolitan area have meaningful access to the arts. The goal of the Bayer Fund Rural Community Arts Program is to ensure that the arts remain accessible to all.
The Bayer Fund, the philanthropic arm of Bayer, focuses on strengthening the communities where Bayer customers and employees live and work.
Organizations seeking funding are invited to submit a letter of interest to the Arts and Education Council by May 19. To be considered, organizations must be located in and serving a county designated as rural by the Census Bureau, which defines rural as any population, housing, or territory NOT in an urban area. Organizations submitting letters must be located in areas where the population does not exceed 50,000 people. Rural Missouri can be found here. Rural Illinois counties can be found here.
