Jessireé Jenkins
Grants and Programs Coordinator

Jessireé Jenkins joined the Arts and Education Council as Grants and Programs Coordinator in January 2020. In her current role of Manager of Grants and Programs, she is responsible for facilitating the productivity and efficiency of the organization’s grants and program needs. She brings over ten years’ experience in a variety of industries, including public libraries and finance. She holds an undergraduate degree in Public Policy Administration from the University of Missouri- St. Louis.

Jessireé combines her background as a library professional and her interests in the arts, technology, civic engagement, social justice to shape the new role. Jessireé believes in the power of communities and the impact that people can have. Jessireé has supported various programs around the area by volunteering. She is currently the board president of local nonprofit, A Call to Conscience.

In her spare time, she enjoys reading, podcasts and music.
